Requirements

Graduate of an AOTA approved COTA program.
Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
CPR certified (adult only).
Possess a Virginia Driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance and readily available, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized occupational therapy treatments in patients' homes, focusing on overcoming functional losses due to disease or injury, all under the expert plan of care devised by our Occupational Therapists.
Serve as the vital link between patients and Occupational Therapists. Share progress, address concerns, and suggest plan adjustments to ensure the most effective care possible.
Equip patients and their caregivers with the knowledge and skills for home exercises and safety. Your teaching will empower them to embrace their treatment plan actively.
Work hand in hand with nursing staff, home health aides, and other therapists to deliver a holistic care approach that addresses all aspects of patient well-being.
Meticulously document treatments and services, ensuring clear communication with healthcare professionals and adherence to Medicare guidelines and agency protocols.
