About The Position
Lakeport Post Acute is looking for a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing rehab team. Requirements
- Active California COTA license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
- New graduates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ daily living and functional skills
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist
- Educate residents and families on therapy techniques and safety strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes
