About The Position

This role is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in an in-house, family-owned therapy organization, distinct from contract therapy companies. The focus is on delivering meaningful, patient-centered care with clinician-led and clinician-supported teams. The organization emphasizes protecting therapy time, respecting clinical judgment, providing mentorship, fostering a stable, family-oriented culture, and making care decisions based on outcomes and patient needs rather than short-term volume. Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization with 12 facilities across Ohio and South Carolina.

Requirements

• Active COTA license in good standing
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under OT supervision
• Assist with evaluations, treatment planning, and patient progression
• Deliver patient-centered interventions focused on function and safety
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and the full interdisciplinary care team
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes
