Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Facility Manager - (COTA)
About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Manager to lead therapy services at Mount St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Euclid, Ohio. The role oversees the day-to-day operation of the therapy department, including occupational, physical, and speech therapy, and supports high-quality patient care and team performance. The manager works with facility leadership, nursing staff, and therapy staff to align services with patient needs, maintain regulatory and administrative compliance, and improve clinical outcomes. The position also assists with patient care when needed to support the team and maintain workflow.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the therapy department, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy services.
- Supervise, support, and mentor therapy staff to promote high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate with facility leadership and nursing staff to align therapy services with patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, documentation, and billing requirements.
- Manage caseloads, scheduling, and staffing to maintain efficiency and coverage.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust departmental processes as needed.
- Assist with patient care when needed to support the team and maintain workflow.
