About The Position

The Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately and documenting according to departmental policy.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current OTA licensure by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
  • Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.

  • Utilizes a variety of occupational therapy techniques to carry out effective treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
