About The Position

We’re currently hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient team at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. Requirements

  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Maryland state licensure (or eligibility)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • 1+ year of acute care or skilled nursing experience preferred (New grads with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT
  • Accurately document patient care using a web-based EMR system
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
  • Meet all clinical, departmental, and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
