The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will implement and execute an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves communication with patients, families, referring physicians, and other team members, as well as providing timely written documentation to meet various requirements. The COTA will also be responsible for preparing and submitting patient charges, meeting productivity standards, ensuring safety, and coordinating treatment goals with other team members. Maintaining valid licensure and awareness of patient and community needs are also key aspects of this position.
