About The Position
Our client is seeking multiple Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for in-person school-based positions in Oakley, CA. Our client is a nationwide provider of comprehensive therapy and educational support services, including Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Language Pathology (SLP), Mental Health and Behavioral Services, and Special Education support. Their dedicated team of professionals delivers personalized care both in-person and through a secure HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student development.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
