About The Position

Now hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN and Full-Time opportunities in a skilled nursing facility in Shelby, OH! Join a collaborative rehabilitation team in a long-term care and short-term rehab setting, where you’ll help residents improve independence with daily activities and functional tasks. You’ll work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist while partnering with PT, SLP, and nursing staff to deliver patient-centered care to a geriatric population. This opportunity is ideal for a COTA seeking flexible PRN or Full-time scheduling, a supportive team environment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in patients’ daily lives.

Requirements

• A valid, unrestricted license in his/her therapy discipline in the state.
• Meet educational requirements of his/her licensure requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Help residents improve independence with daily activities and functional tasks.
