About The Position

We’re currently hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient team at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. Requirements

Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Maryland state licensure (or eligibility)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
1+ year of acute care or skilled nursing experience preferred (New grads with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply)

Someone who values one-on-one patient care and long-term relationships
A strong communicator with excellent time management and flexibility

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT
Accurately document patient care using a web-based EMR system
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
Meet all clinical, departmental, and regulatory standards
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
