About The Position

Are you an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in Outpatient Neuro? If so, Tx:Team is looking for you to join our Outpatient Neuro Specialty team at Frederick Health Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab Liberty outpatient clinic! Frederick Health is a distinguished leader in comprehensive stroke and neuro care that spans the continuum from Acute Inpatient Services to Home Health and Outpatient and has received an American Heart Association Gold Plus award as a Primary Stroke Center. This is an exciting position for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant passionate about helping people with neurologic conditions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of experts in Neurology, Neuroscience, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, who focus on delivering the highest quality patient care. Clinic Specialties: Comprehensive Stroke Rehab Expanded Parkinson’s Disease Program Vestibular Disorders and Concussion Program Cancer Care Rehab The Details: Be a part of this team of clinicians with an excellent reputation for programming and service to its patients. Our team consists of experienced neuro clinicians certified in LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD for the Parkinson's population. PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Monday–Friday schedule — No weekends. No holidays. Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited school approved by ACOTE
  • Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland
  • Has one (1) year outpatient experience
  • Has a minimum of one (1) year of neuro experience
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality outcomes driven occupational therapy services
  • Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR)
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.
  • Conduct patient and family education
