This full-time role involves assisting patients in regaining independence with daily activities, evaluating home environments for safety and accessibility, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with the care team. Requirements
- Active California COTA License
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a COTA
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Assist patients in regaining independence with daily activities
- Evaluate home environments for safety and accessibility
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans
