About The Position
LTC Therapy: Quincy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents recovering from illness, injury, surgery, and functional decline while supporting independence and daily living skills.
Requirements
- Active COTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities focused on mobility, coordination, self-care, and upper extremity function
- Reinforce adaptive strategies and therapeutic techniques designed to improve daily performance
- Monitor resident participation and communicate updates to the supervising OT
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and progress notes
