About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Oak View. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a COTA looking for a flexible schedule while providing hands-on therapy that helps residents improve daily function and maintain greater independence.
Requirements
- Active Maryland COTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Work with residents on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills
- Carry out individualized treatment programs developed by the supervising OT
- Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the clinical team
- Reinforce adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and therapeutic activities
- Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
