About The Position

Care First Rehab is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join their growing clinic team. This role is clinic-based and focuses on providing essential therapy services to a diverse population, from infants to seniors. The clinic is owned and operated by an Occupational Therapist who understands the clinical world and prioritizes employee well-being and quality of care over high-volume quotas. They foster a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment (PT/OT/ST/FT) that values each team member’s unique contributions. The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, providing direct instruction in activities of daily living (ADLs), fine/gross motor skills, and sensory processing, collaborating with other therapists, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Valid and current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Must be comfortable treating both Adult and Pediatric patients.
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and age-related conditions is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches and therapeutic techniques.
  • Providing direct instruction in activities of daily living (ADLs), fine/gross motor skills, and sensory processing.
  • Collaborating effectively with Speech and Physical Therapists to ensure holistic patient progress.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring the clinic remains a clean, welcoming space.
