About The Position

Care First Rehab is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join their growing clinic team. This is a full-time, W2 position in a clinic setting. The clinic is owned and operated by an Occupational Therapist who prioritizes employee well-being and quality of care over high-volume quotas. They foster a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that values each team member’s unique contributions. The COTA will work under the supervision of a registered OT to provide essential therapy services to a diverse population, from infants to seniors, within the clinic.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid and current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Must be comfortable treating both Adult and Pediatric patients.
• Experience in a clinic setting is preferred; knowledge of developmental milestones and age-related conditions is required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches and therapeutic techniques.
• Providing direct instruction in activities of daily living (ADLs), fine/gross motor skills, and sensory processing.
• Collaborating effectively with Speech and Physical Therapists to ensure holistic patient progress.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring the clinic remains a clean, welcoming space.
