About The Position
LTC Therapy Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support occupational therapy programs in a skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys functional, hands-on care and helping residents return to everyday activities. The position offers a consistent caseload with the opportunity to see real progress over time, a team environment with strong clinical support, and work that directly improves the quality of life for residents.
Requirements
- Active COTA license
- Accredited OTA program completion
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with therapy sessions centered on daily living skills such as dressing, bathing, and feeding
- Guide residents through exercises that improve coordination, strength, and fine motor control
- Support use of adaptive equipment and teach safe techniques for independence
- Track progress and communicate updates to the Occupational Therapist
- Keep documentation accurate and up to date
