East Bay Post Acute is looking for a dedicated and energetic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our premier in-house therapy team in Castro Valley. Requirements
- A current and valid California Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License.
- A compassionate, "patient-first" mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to grow.

Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the OT and physician, focusing on functional ADL recovery.
- Maintain detailed daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in compliance with OT Board and payer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress and discharge goals.
- Train Restorative Aides, instruct nursing staff, and provide vital caregiver training to families.
- Build positive, professional relationships with residents and families, acting as a key partner in their recovery journey.
