About The Position
This position is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, averaging 35 hours per week. The COTA supports the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility with 99 beds. The role focuses on helping patients improve independence with daily activities, mobility, and functional skills following illness, injury, or surgery.
Requirements
- Active COTA license or certification in the applicable state.
- Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic activities.
- Strong knowledge of patient safety practices.
- Strong knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings.
