About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time, school-based Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to children. The role focuses on supporting students’ success in school and beyond through high-quality services based on their IEPs or 504 plans. The COTA identifies students’ strengths and areas of concern in fine motor skills, handwriting, and other areas. PDS provides therapists with support and a tailored mentorship program.
Requirements
- State license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L).
- Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students based on their IEPs or 504 plans.
- Help students improve skills and succeed in the school setting and beyond.
- Determine students’ strengths and areas of concern in fine motor skills, handwriting, and other areas.
