About The Position
Symbria is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join its Rehab Team at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis. The role serves older adults in a senior-living setting as part of an interdisciplinary team. New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship, training, and hands-on experience are provided. The position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Symbria is a 100% employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The company has provided patient-centered care to the geriatric population in senior-living and post-acute settings for more than 20 years.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Hold a valid state license or have a pending license as a newer graduate.
Nice To Haves
- Acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation experience; this experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Occupational Therapist to establish appropriate goals and carry out treatment plans creatively.
- Maintain productivity standards.
- Complete required documentation.
- Help patients achieve critical outcomes while serving as a trusted partner to the community.
