About The Position

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position working 8-hour day shifts (8:00am–4:30pm), 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required. This opportunity is within a 60-bed skilled nursing facility providing post-hospital short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite services. This is a long-term opportunity (up to 366 weeks). The COTA will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to support patient functional independence and recovery.

Requirements

  • Active COTA license required.
  • BLS certification required per facility standards.
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills, ability to follow established treatment plans, and proficiency in documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Ability to work weekend rotation as scheduled is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
