Occupational Therapy - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
About The Position
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position working 8-hour day shifts (8:00am–4:30pm), 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required. This opportunity is within a skilled nursing facility providing post-hospital short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite services. The facility accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances and is recognized as an AHCA Bronze Quality Award recipient and a We Honor Veterans community partner. This is a long-term opportunity (up to 366 weeks) supporting patients recovering from illness or injury.
Requirements
- Active COTA license required.
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
- BLS certification required per facility standards.
- Must demonstrate strong communication skills, ability to implement established treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Ability to work scheduled weekend rotations is required.
