About The Position

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position, 35 hours/week, Monday through Friday with no weekend rotation. Provides therapy services to short-term rehab and long-term care residents in a 150-bed skilled nursing facility located in a rural setting. Works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to improve patient independence, safety, and quality of life. Competitive pay range of $27.00–$31.00/hour with a 10% salary placement fee.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required.
• Active COTA license in the practicing state required.
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills
• Ability to follow established treatment plans
• Accurate documentation
• Effective collaboration with interdisciplinary rehab and nursing teams

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
