About The Position

This position is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, averaging 30 hours per week with no weekend rotation. The COTA supports occupational therapy services in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting, helping patients regain independence with daily activities following illness, injury, or surgery. The role works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans focused on improving mobility, coordination, and functional abilities.

Requirements

• Candidates must hold an active COTA license or certification in the applicable state
• Completed an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of therapeutic activities
• Ability to document care in electronic medical record systems

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings
