About The Position
Lone Tree Post Acute is looking for a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. As part of our 99-bed skilled nursing facility, you'll work alongside experienced therapists and healthcare professionals to help residents regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their quality of life. Requirements
- Current, active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork and organizational abilities

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Help residents improve functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve resident goals
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and home safety
- Assist with discharge planning to support safe transitions home
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Foster a positive and encouraging therapy environment that motivates residents throughout their rehabilitation journey
