About The Position

Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located at 4681 College Park Drive in Round Rock, Texas. It’s designed to help patients recover from serious illness, injury, or surgery—especially those transitioning from intensive care. The unit offers intensive therapy for conditions like stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, amputation, and other complex conditions. Patients typically receive 15 hours of therapy per week, guided by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists. The unit is located on the first floor and is equipped with advanced rehab equipment and designed to support recovery in a focused, patient-centered environment. Requirements

• Candidates must have certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree
• Current and valid state OTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in the states where services are rendered
• CPR certification (when required)

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal
• Other duties as assigned
