For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries. We are looking for a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who wants to provide patient-centered care in our program in Johns Creek, GA. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.

Requirements

A high school diploma and three (3) years of related work experience along with active certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills are required.
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist occupational therapists in providing occupational therapy treatments and procedures.
May assist in development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, direct activity programs, and document the progress of treatments.
