About The Position
The Certified OB Scrub Tech supports surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures and assists in providing quality care to surgical patients. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the role is responsible for general maintenance of equipment, the room, and supplies. The position performs scrub duties and assists with the maintenance of instruments, equipment, and supplies. The role is full-time and works nights at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Vocational/technical school diploma.
- Completion of an accredited school of technical training.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- At least one year of Surgical Technologist experience.
Responsibilities
- Support surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist in providing quality care to surgical patients.
- Maintain equipment, the room, and supplies under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Perform scrub duties.
- Assist in maintaining instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
