About The Position

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for its PACU/PreOp area. The role requires a documented nursing assistant certification, CNA I certification, and Basic Life Support certification through an AHA- or ARC-accredited course. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgical center. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Documented certification as a nursing assistant; CNA I certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an AHA- or ARC-accredited course is required.
• At least one year of previous experience in a hospital-based setting or ambulatory surgical center.
• Able to work independently and meet established deadlines.
• Able to make sound, reasonable decisions.
• Highly organized and able to concentrate on detailed requests despite interruptions.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptiveness to change, creativity, and innovation.
• Able to identify and calmly handle stressful situations with tact.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with consumers and staff.
• Seeks guidance, direction, and assistance when needed.
• Flexible and willing to take on new responsibilities.
• Must complete pre-employment drug screening and background check.
