About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Medical Assisting experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist providers and nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient clinical environment. CNA/MA Summary of Job Responsibilities: Perform daily patient care duties including bathing, feeding, dressing, and assisting with mobility. Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and patient history accurately. Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies for patient visits or minor procedures. Assist providers with examinations, specimen collection, injections, and diagnostic tests. Perform basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing as needed. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR). Maintain cleanliness and compliance with infection control and safety standards. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure quality and continuity of care. Support team workflows by scheduling, rooming patients, and updating medical records. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Must have current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting (hospital, clinic, or long-term care).
  • Must have flexible schedule to accommodate coverage needs.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
  • Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or titers.
  • Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 months.
  • Current Annual Health Clearance.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of EHR systems and basic medical terminology.
  • Must have reliable source of transportation.
