About The Position

High Point Residence Jerseyville is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our overnight care team. In this role, you will provide hands-on assistance and compassionate support to residents while promoting their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence. As a valued member of our nursing team, you will work closely with licensed nurses and fellow caregivers to deliver exceptional resident-centered care and help create a warm, welcoming environment for those we serve.

Requirements

Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in assisted living, supportive living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare.
Experience providing care for older adults.
CPR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Provide compassionate, respectful care while promoting resident dignity and independence.
Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
Measure and document vital signs as directed.
Assist with repositioning, transfers, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
Support residents with meal service, hydration, and other daily needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Follow all infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
