About The Position
Moraga Post-Acute is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their dedicated nursing team. The facility is committed to providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive environment where both residents and employees are valued. This role involves providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence, working closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
Requirements
- Active California CNA certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize resident needs
- Commitment to providing exceptional quality care
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy
- Follow individualized care plans and established facility policies and procedures
- Accurately document care provided and resident observations
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas
- Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
- Assist with maintaining a comfortable and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team
- Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered culture
