About The Position
Provides professional and technical skills to provide safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of patients in the patient care areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, CA Certified Nurse Assistant Course.
- Current C.N.A. License, BLS.
- Hospital Mandatory Education Requirements: Orientation, OSHA, EOC, Infection Control, Abuse/ Neglect, and Ethics.
- Tuberculosis Screening, BLS.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
Nice To Haves
- 1 year nurse assistance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
