CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Part Time
About The Position
Stonerise is seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. They offer new wage scales for part-time team members to help staff difficult shifts. Part-time members must commit to 20 hours per week or 40 hours per pay period. Refusing three shifts will be considered a voluntary resignation. Evening shifts (2:00pm - 10:00pm) are currently open. Stonerise is an Appalachian organization serving local neighbors, with nearly 3,000 team members across West Virginia and southeast Ohio. They have been a trusted healthcare provider since 2009 and are locally owned and operated.
Requirements
- State-approved nursing assistant program completion
- Successfully pass the Nurse Aide Competency Exam
- Maintain active certification
- Attend required number of educational programs per month/quarter

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to patients under the supervision of a RN or LPN
- Utilize appropriate resources to provide care and support for assigned patients
- Administer showers, bed baths, or tub baths according to patients’ plan of care
- Provide oral hygiene including denture care
- Respond to patient call lights
- Assist patients with meals and feeding
- Assist patients in range of motion, mobility and ambulation
- Transport patients to scheduled activities
- Complete required forms including intake and output, food intake, flow sheet, accident/incident report, patient clothing sheet and CNA flow sheet
- Attend to patient hygiene needs
- Promote good customer service and a safe, nurturing environment
