Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with individuals with disabilities, special needs, and/or the aging population
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Dependable, compassionate, and professional with a strong commitment to quality care
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility, and transfers)
  • Monitor client well-being, observe changes, and report concerns promptly
  • Document care, including vital signs and daily activities
  • Support a safe, respectful, and culturally responsive environment
  • Assist with meals, snacks, and restorative exercises
  • Respond to emergencies and follow safety and infection control procedures
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable space
  • Collaborate with the care team and participate in ongoing training
  • Driving to travel to client homes is an essential responsibility
