About The Position

Mission Valley Post Acute is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their team on a full-time AM shift. This role is for individuals passionate about providing quality, person-centered care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.

Requirements

Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care preferred.
New CNAs are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered care in accordance with each resident’s individual care plan.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and other mobility needs while maintaining resident safety.
Measure and record vital signs and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed nursing staff.
Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely and respectful manner.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Promote residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Collaborate with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality resident care.
