About The Position

Make a difference every day as a patient advocate providing quality of life-enhancing services to those served. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs hands-on nursing care, with an emphasis on daily care needs and personal hygiene, in a home-like setting in Granite Bay, California. This is a full-time day-shift position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Completion of a CNA certification program.
Current CNA certification issued by the state relevant to the position.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families.
Reliable, responsible attitude and compassionate approach.
Commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

One year of CNA experience, ideally with medically complex patients.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are provided.
Assist or supervise individuals with daily living, personal care, and community and social integration.
Help maintain safe, quality supports for individuals served.
Initiate emergency procedures when needed.
Use equipment correctly and safely.
Report hazardous conditions, equipment issues, accidents, or incidents to a supervisor.
Maintain current progress notes and other appropriate documentation.
Assist with resident activity programs, including off-site outings and appointments.
Assist with household activities and help keep the residence tidy and clean.
Assist with meal preparation and mealtimes.
Prepare rooms for new resident admissions, obtaining equipment and supplies as needed.
Prepare residents for discharge.
Attend and participate in team meetings and training as required.
Maintain confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect.
