About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a nursing home facility in New Rochelle, NY. This position offers competitive pay of $23/hr, with overtime pay at $34.50/hr. We have full-time and part-time hours available across day, evening, and night shifts. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to geriatric residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, safe patient transfers, clinical charting in EHR systems, and collaborating with RNs and LPNs to ensure a seamless healthcare environment. We offer direct deposit every Thursday, VIP interview with valet parking, free onsite parking, and a fast start with orientation every Wednesday.

Requirements

  • Active NYS CNA License
  • Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
  • In-Person Interview Required: Must be able to come to the facility for a brief face-to-face meeting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Assist with patient bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, continuous rounding, meal assistance, and dignified personal care needs.
  • Safely perform mechanical lifts, positioning, turning, and ambulation transfers for long-term care and sub-acute rehab residents.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
  • Monitor and record patient vitals, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Coordinate with staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to maintain a seamless healthcare environment.
  • Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
  • Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
