About The Position

The Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit is a 33-bed tertiary obstetrics center that provides 24/7 multidisciplinary care to women and their families, delivering approximately 1,750 babies per year. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide support to the staff and patients on the unit, working independently to provide resource information and general nursing care. They will also complete clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits, and patient processes.

Requirements

WI Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
Strong interest in customer service
Able to multi-task
Able to work independently with little supervision
Passionate about providing excellent patient care
Able to demonstrate compassion at the end of life

Responsibilities

Provide support to the staff and patients on the unit.
Work independently providing resource information and general nursing care to patients.
Completes clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits and patient processes.
Share in helping staff as HUC (LDRP Unit Secretary) duties.
