About The Position
Saratoga Medical (DBA Saratoga Ascend) is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for correctional healthcare facilities in South Carolina. These are great opportunities for CNAs looking to provide quality patient care in a professional correctional healthcare setting. Current Openings are available at Camille Correctional Institution (CI) for CNA - Day Shift (8:00 AM–6:00 PM) with 10-hour shifts and 4 shifts/week, and at Kirkland Reception & Evaluation (R/E) for CNA - Day Shift (6:00 AM–7:00 PM) with 12-hour shifts and 3 shifts/week. The schedule requires a minimum 13-week commitment, with every other weekend required and rotating weekends mandatory. Block scheduling is not permitted.
Requirements
- Current, valid, unrestricted CNA certification/license
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of basic nursing care, sanitation, hygiene, and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care and assistance with daily activities
- Assist with patient hygiene, comfort, and mobility
- Monitor and report patient conditions and changes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
