About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care has immediate needs for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's) to care for clients in their homes. This role offers the opportunity to work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. The position involves caring for a quadriplegic client and requires knowledge of bowel programs. The hours consist of overnights, specifically 9 PM - 8 AM, with two nights guaranteed on Wednesday and Thursday, and other shifts potentially available. BAYADA invests in its employees by offering paid training to become a Home Health Aide and provides a positive work environment with the necessary tools for the job. Requirements

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current CNA - Certified Nurse Aide license listed in good standing with the board.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Knowledge of bowel programs

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
