Position Overview As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while promoting a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment. Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will provide hands-on care, monitor resident well-being, and help ensure the highest quality of life for those entrusted to your care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification/Registration
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association compliant)
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an Aide Trainee or 1 year of paid experience caring for geriatric, long-term care, or medically complex patients
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment screening and clearance requirements, incl background check and fingerprinting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to accurately collect, document, and communicate patient information
  • Understanding of behavioral health and age-related care considerations

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  • Monitor and document vital signs and other health-related observations
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Protect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
  • Participate in orientation, training, and continuing education programs
  • Assist with meal preparation as needed
  • Follow all facility, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures
