About The Position

Victorian Village, a Skilled Nursing Community, located in Homer Glen, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Full Time on the Overnight Shift. Victorian Village is a member of the Providence Life Services family, dedicated to enhancing the lives of those they serve. An additional $2/hour differential is offered for the Overnight Shift. The primary role for this position involves working closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to residents according to their needs. Typical activities include assisting residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional responsibilities include reminding residents of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documenting work performed. No previous experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background check, and successfully complete a reference check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance and care to residents in accordance with their needs.
Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring.
Remind residents of medications.
Make beds.
Respond to call lights.
Document work performed.
