About The Position
Cedar Ridge Village is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Requirements
- Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Follows and upholds The Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plan.
- Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
- Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
- Follows and upholds policies and procedures of The Community.
- Follows rules outlined in the Community’s employee handbook.
- Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
- Follows infection control guidelines.
- Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
- Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
