We are currently looking to hire 1 Full time CNA, day shift. Shift hours are 6a-2p. All CNA positions require working every other weekend and every other holiday. Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program
  • Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving approach to foster trust and rapport with patients of all ages including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Nice To Haves

  • additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
  • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient service and ensure continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support when required.
  • Support patients in rehabilitation or post-acute care by assisting with mobility exercises and ensuring comfort during recovery processes.
  • Document all patient interactions thoroughly within medical records while respecting patient confidentiality at all times.
