About The Position
Baptist Medical Center South is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for its Ortho/Spine Med/Surg Unit in Jacksonville, Florida. The role supports Registered Nurses in delivering care to patients with diverse healthcare needs. This is a part-time dayshift position, working 24 hours per week in shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The position is based at Baptist Medical Center South, South - Main Building, 14550 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect lab specimens.
- Monitor intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
