About The Position

Prairie Vista Village is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Prairie Vista Village is an innovative, beautiful, 5-star, boutique-style senior living community with a mission to enrich residents' lives through purpose, passion, and joy. The community offers independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care.

Requirements

• Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Follows and upholds The Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plan.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures of The Community.
• Follows rules outlined in the Community’s employee handbook.
• Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Follows infection control guidelines.
• Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
• Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
