8 Week CNA Training Course
About The Position
Friends Homes offers a free, eight-week Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program for people seeking to begin a career in healthcare. Participants develop essential caregiving skills, gain healthcare knowledge, and build confidence for taking their first steps toward a CNA career. The program aims to support career development and create opportunities in the community. The external certification exam is not included; participants are responsible for its cost. Classes run Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and daily attendance is required. Friday skills lab tutoring is optional. Listed program start dates are January 4, March 22, June 7, August 23, and November 8, 2027.

- Must be able to attend class daily, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
