About The Position
Park Place of St. John, a Catered Living/Campus Care Community in St. John, IN, has an immediate opening for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Part Time, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift. This role requires availability to work every other weekend. While not mandatory, a Home Health Aide Certification in addition to CNA is considered a plus. Park Place of St. John is part of the Providence Life Services family, dedicated to improving the lives of those they serve.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
- Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and a 50-pound lift test.
- Must complete fingerprinting for a criminal background check.
- Must complete the orientation program.
Nice To Haves
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state of Indiana.
- Previous experience in long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Perform light kitchen duties, cleaning, and laundry.
- Ensure fluids and snacks are accessible to residents between meals and at bedtime.
- Assist residents with toileting, bathing, and daily grooming.
- Foster a calm and pleasant living environment for residents.
- Document and report any changes in residents' medical condition to the appropriate nurses.
